What's actually included in a managed IT contract?
Proactive monitoring, patch management, endpoint management, 24/7 help desk, vCIO/strategic planning, and the full security stack — EDR, SOC, email security, dark web monitoring, DNS filtering. Backup is typically included or sized to your needs. There are no surprise upsells; what you sign for is what you get.
Is this a fixed-rate contract or hourly?
Fixed monthly rate. You pay the same amount regardless of ticket volume or resolution time. That alignment matters: our incentive becomes preventing problems, not billing hours when they happen. If your environment generates more tickets than expected, that's our problem to solve through better engineering — not yours to pay for.
How does onboarding work?
Inevat documents your environment, deploys our monitoring and management agents, configures security tools, and stands up the help desk for your team — typically over 2-4 weeks depending on environment size. Your team has support throughout, and we don't flip the switch until everything's tested.
Can we keep our existing software, or does Inevat make us standardize?
You keep your stack. We don't force migrations or platform changes for the sake of standardization. We integrate our security and monitoring tools into the environment you already have, and only recommend changes when something is creating real risk or inefficiency — and you make the final call.
What happens if we need to leave the contract?
We make exit easier than entry. If managed IT isn't working for you, the contract terms are clear, the documentation we created is yours, and we'll cooperate with handoff to whoever you bring in next. We'd rather lose a client cleanly than create friction that damages the relationship — but if there's a real problem we should know about, we'd appreciate hearing it first.
