Managed IT for Schools & Education
Private schools, charter schools, and tutoring programs run modern technology environments — 1-to-1 device programs, cloud SIS platforms, parent and student portals, and classroom collaboration tools. Inevat delivers FERPA-aware managed IT designed around how schools actually operate, with the security posture board members and parents increasingly expect.

Student data, classroom technology, and parent expectations — protected and managed.
K-12 ransomware attacks have grown sharply over the last few years — schools represent rich data sets and historically weak defenses. Private schools, charter schools, and tutoring centers face the same threats with smaller IT teams and tighter budgets. Inevat delivers enterprise-grade managed IT and cybersecurity scaled to school operations, with FERPA awareness built into the documentation rather than treated as an afterthought.
FERPA & Student Data Protection
FERPA-aligned access controls, audit logging, and data handling procedures for student records. Documentation maintained continuously so questions from boards, parents, or state regulators have ready answers.

We source and manage Microsoft 365 Education and Google Workspace for Education licensing — leveraging the dramatic discounts available to qualifying schools — and deploy them properly so security stays tight even with a large user count.

Mobile device management for student Chromebooks, iPads, and laptops. App restrictions, web filtering, lost-device handling, and provisioning at the start of each school year — managed centrally, not class by class.
Explore Managed ITEDR & Endpoint Security
Every staff laptop, classroom workstation, and admin device gets EDR — properly configured for the school environment. K-12 ransomware specifically targets administrative systems; EDR is the primary defense.

Campus-grade wireless designed for classroom density, properly segmented (student, staff, IoT, guest), and supported with monitoring that catches issues before classrooms do.

Real technicians, fast response. Whether it's a teacher with a frozen laptop minutes before first period or an admin staff member needing access to the SIS — Inevat's help desk picks up the call.

Inevat treats school clients the way we treat every client: with the full security stack included, real human support, and pricing built around predictability. Where education-specific licensing exists (Microsoft 365 EDU, Google Workspace for Education, TechSoup discounts), we use it. The result is enterprise-grade managed IT — at a per-user rate that fits the way schools actually budget.
- Education licensing leveraged wherever it's available
- Full managed IT and security stack — no à la carte upsells
- Onboarding includes a security baseline assessment

How does Inevat handle FERPA compliance for our school?
FERPA requires schools to protect student education records, restrict access to records on a legitimate-need basis, and provide procedures for handling parent requests. Our compliance program documents access controls, maintains audit logs of access to student data, and provides the procedural documentation auditors and parents may ask for. We also handle the data-handling agreements with subprocessors that FERPA implicitly requires.
Can you support our SIS and learning management system?
Yes. We support the IT environment around them — endpoints, network, identity, backup. Common school platforms (PowerSchool, FACTS, Veracross, Blackbaud, RenWeb, Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams Education, Schoology, Canvas) integrate fine with managed identity (Microsoft Entra, Google Workspace), and we keep the IT layer reliable. We coordinate with those platform vendors but don't replace them.
How do you manage 1-to-1 device programs for students?
Through mobile device management — Chromebook management for Google deployments, Intune or JamfSchool for Apple devices, hybrid for mixed environments. We handle initial provisioning, app and content restrictions, web filtering aligned to your acceptable use policy, lost-device tracking and remote wipe, and end-of-year collection/refresh. Multi-thousand-device deployments are routine.
What about classroom Wi-Fi during testing windows or assemblies?
Campus wireless designed for high-density events — testing windows, all-school assemblies, parent-teacher conferences. We do predictive RF surveys based on classroom layout and headcount, deploy enterprise access points sized for the load, and monitor real-time performance during high-stress periods. Wi-Fi failures during state testing aren't a possibility we accept.
How do you protect against the K-12 ransomware trend?
Layered defense: EDR on every endpoint (especially admin and back-office systems), 24/7 SOC monitoring, email security to block the phishing vectors that deliver ransomware, MFA on every account, and tested backup of admin and SIS data so a successful attack becomes a restore operation. K-12 ransomware is real and growing; the controls that defeat it are well-known and we implement them as standard.
