SaaS Protection24/7 SOC Monitoring
Human analysts monitor your firm's entire environment around the clock. Threats are investigated and contained in real time — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
SOC MonitoringTechnology that upholds your duty to protect client data.
The ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct require lawyers to make reasonable efforts to prevent unauthorized access to client information. A breach does not just mean financial loss — it means ethical violations, malpractice exposure, and reputational damage that can end a practice. Inevat builds security into every layer of your firm's technology so you can focus on practicing law, not managing IT risk.
- ABA Model Rule 1.6 — duty of confidentiality supported by encryption and access controls
- State bar cybersecurity requirements — continuous monitoring and documentation
- Cyber insurance compliance — SOC coverage and incident response plans included
- HIPAA alignment — for firms handling health-related litigation

How do you handle ABA Model Rule 1.6 — the duty of confidentiality?
Rule 1.6(c) requires reasonable efforts to prevent unauthorized disclosure of client information. Inevat's stack delivers those efforts in concrete form: enterprise EDR on every device handling case files, encrypted email with phishing protection, MFA enforced everywhere, dark web credential monitoring, and SOC monitoring 24/7. We also document the controls so you can demonstrate reasonable efforts if questioned.
Can you support our practice management software (Clio, MyCase, PracticePanther, etc.)?
Yes. We support the common legal practice management platforms — Clio, MyCase, PracticePanther, Smokeball, NetDocuments, iManage. The integration is at the IT layer (endpoints, network, identity, backup) rather than the workflow layer; we don't replace your practice management vendor's support, we make sure the IT environment around it is secure and reliable.
What happens if our firm gets a cybersecurity question from a client?
Increasingly common — corporate clients send security questionnaires before engaging outside counsel. Inevat helps you answer those accurately. We provide documentation of your security controls (MFA, EDR, SOC, encryption, training), incident response procedures, and any compliance attestations. Your responses are based on what's actually deployed, not aspirational answers.
Are you HIPAA-ready for firms doing healthcare or medical malpractice work?
Yes. Firms handling Protected Health Information (medical malpractice, healthcare regulatory, personal injury with medical records) become HIPAA Business Associates. We execute Business Associate Agreements, deploy HIPAA-aligned controls, and maintain the documentation and risk assessments HIPAA requires. The same managed IT stack covers it — we just add the formal compliance layer.
Will managed IT slow down our attorneys during deadlines?
Opposite. The point of proactive monitoring and 24/7 help desk is that issues get resolved fast — under 15 minutes typical response — and many never reach the user because we caught them in monitoring. The friction in poorly-managed IT comes from break/fix cycles and slow vendor responses; managed IT is designed to eliminate both.
